Grace Jackson

Grace Jackson (born June 14, 1961 in Saint Ann Parish ) is a former Jamaican sprinter .

At the World Indoor Athletics Championships in 1987 , she finished third in the 200-meter run behind Heike Drechsler and Merlene Ottey , and in 1989 she was second behind Ottey. At the US Championships in San José in 1987 , Jackson reached 3rd place and in 1990 Norwalk 1st place.

At the Summer Olympics in Seoul in 1988 she reached the silver medal behind Florence Griffith-Joyner over 200 m .

1986 and 1988 it became Jamaica's Athlete of the Year chosen
