Band history

Most of the band members formed in 2007 at JesusHouse in Hamburg, back then as the "JesusHouseBand". With a similar cast, they were responsible for the music on the main stage at the Christival in Bremen in 2008 . At the beginning of 2009 new musicians joined and formed into Gracetown . After their first album Du Bleibst from January 2010, a devotional book with the same name was published. Gracetown was also musically responsible for the JesusHouse events in 2010 and 2011 and also worked conceptually and in terms of content in the preparation and implementation. In autumn 2010 the second studio album Das ist Unser Zeit and the Gracetown Songbook was released , which contains all the songs from the first two albums as well as other pieces from the time as JesusHouseBand . In autumn 2011 the recordings for the third album took place, which was released in February 2012. It is entitled State of the Art .
