Graf Publishing House

The Graf Publishers is a German book publisher based in Munich . It was founded in 2010 and belongs to the Ullstein book publishers . The publishing house has been discontinued since March 1, 2015.

The Publisher

Graf Verlag was entered in the commercial register of the Charlottenburg District Court and represented by the managing directors Siv Bublitz and Christian Schumacher-Gebler.

The founder and publisher was Tanja Graf , who previously worked as head editor and fiction program manager at Piper Verlag and founded the former SchirmerGraf Verlag in 2003 with the Munich art publisher Lothar Schirmer , before starting her independent publishing activity in 2010.

The Ullstein book publisher, Siv Bublitz, announced that there was no point in continuing without Frau Graf. During its five years of existence, Graf Verlag established important authors such as Erri De Luca and Daniela Krien. The backlist publishing titles will in future be managed by Ullstein in Berlin.
