Graham Nishikawa (born November 19, 1983 in Whitehorse ) is a Canadian cross-country skier .

Career

Nishikawa, who starts for the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club, has mainly participated in the Nor-Am Cup since 2004 . He has had 20 victories so far and in the 2007/08 , 2009/10 and 2012/13 seasons he took second place in the overall standings. In the 2008/09 , 2010/11 and 2013/14 seasons he won the overall ranking (as of the end of the 2016/17 season). At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2003 in Sollefteå , he finished 52nd over 10 km classic and 33rd place in the sprint. In December 2005 he made his debut in Vernon in the cross-country skiing world cup and achieved 59th place in sprint and 48th place in skiathlon . He got his first World Cup points in January 2009 in Vancouver with the 26th place in the skiathlon. In December 2012 in Canmore he reached 15th place in the skiathlon, his best individual placement in the World Cup. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Fiemme Valley , he came 51st place in the skiathlon, 48th place in the 50 km mass start race and 39th place over 15 km freestyle. In March 2014, he became the Canadian sprint champion at Corner Brook .
