Grand Supreme Blood Court is a Dutch death metal band from Twente that was founded in 2009. In this "Blood Court" ( blood court ) the members occupy various positions: "Executioner" ( executioner ), "Magistrate" ( magistrate ), "Registrar" ( archivist ), "Prosecutor" ( public prosecutor ) and "Judge" ( judge ) .

history

The band formed in 2009 after a phone conversation between former Asphyx and Soulburn guitarist Eric Daniels and the current members of Asphyx. In addition to guitarist Daniels, the band consisted of singer Martin van Drunen, who also gave the band its name, guitarist Alwin Zuur, bassist Theo van Eekelen and drummer Bob Bagchus. Her debut album Bow Down Before the Blood Court was released on Century Media in November 2012 . The album was recorded at Harrow Studio and Sonic Assault Studio and then mixed by Dan Swanö .

style

The band plays aggressive, classic death metal, which is partly reminiscent of the original bands of the members Asphyx and Hail of Bullets , but also of the music of Slaughter .
