Grant Gustin
Thomas Grant Gustin (born January 14, 1990 in Norfolk , Virginia ) is an American actor . He is best known for his roles as Sebastian Smythe in the television series Glee and as Barry Allen in The Flash .
Life
In addition to high school, he attended the Governor's School for the Arts program in Norfolk , Virginia , for musical theater . In 2008 he graduated from Granby High School and attended the BFA Musical Theater Program at Elon University in North Carolina for 3 years . He broke it off to play Baby John on the Broadway Revival tour of the musical West Side Story . He left this in turn to play the role of Sebastian Smythe , a gay boy from the Dalton Academy Warblers , in Glee . After appearing in two episodes as Barry Allen in Arrow in 2013, it was announced that Gustin would continue this role in the spin-off The Flash . The series started on October 7, 2014.
He married his girlfriend on December 15, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.
