Andreas Grasmüller

Andreas Grasmüller (born November 28, 1925 in Munich , † August 19, 2005 in Munich- Pasing ) was a German lawyer and animal rights activist .

Act

In 1952, Andreas Grasmüller first came into the focus of the general public when he presented documents as a defense attorney in a nitrite affair after the import and storage agency of the Federal Ministry of Food had imported a large amount of canned pork into Germany from Canada, twice as much Contained nitrite as permitted by law. In the 1970s, Grasmüller moderated the ARD quiz show Alles oder haben .

From 1978 to 1993 Grasmüller served as President of the German Animal Welfare Association . He left the Animal Welfare Association after conflicts and founded the animal union with six colleagues . The idea for this was to create as species-appropriate refuge as possible for neglected and tortured pets, farm animals and wild animals.
