The Gray Horns ( Norwegian Gråhorna ) are a group of mountain peaks in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They rise 8 km west of the Großer Schwarzhorn in the western Petermann chain of the Wohlthatmassiv .
They were discovered and mapped during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Participants in the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) carried out a new mapping using their own measurements and aerial photographs, and translated the German name into Norwegian.
