The Gray Rock is an isolated rock formation in East Antarctic Victoria Land . The rock rises 6 km east-northeast of Rhodes Head on the southeast side of the Eisenhower Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Alvin M. Gray, radio wave researcher at McMurdo Station from 1965 to 1966.
