Great White North Records was a Canadian music label from Sainte-Julie that specialized in various more extreme forms of heavy metal . It was founded in 1999 by Rémi Côté and Stephan Bélanger, who both had previous experience with their own labels.
In addition, two subsidiaries were founded, whose focus was on individual genres: Grind It! Records ( Grindcore , Crustcore ) and Demÿsteriis ( Black Metal and related styles).
