Krisztián Grecsó [ ˈkristiaːn ˈɡrɛʧoː ] (* 1976 in Szegvár , southern Hungary) is a Hungarian writer .

Life

Grecsó now lives in Budapest . He studied Hungarian Hungarology at the University of Szeged and works as a freelance writer and editor of the literary magazine Bárka in Békéscsaba and writes regularly for the literary weekly newspaper Élet és Irodalom .

Like András Cserna-Szabó, he is one of the young Hungarian-language authors who have dedicated themselves to telling everyday rural stories in a humorous, absurd style.
