The Greenstone Point is a headland in the shape of a rock spur in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It is located on the north side of the Jones Mountains immediately east of the Austin Valley .
Participants in a University of Minnesota expedition to the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961 mapped them. The headland got its name from the greenish color of its rock.
