Greenwater is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pierce County , Washington state . At the 2010 United States Census , Greenwater had 67 residents.
Based on per capita income , Greenwater ranks 17th out of 522 Washington areas compared. That's the highest rank in Pierce County. Greenwater gets much of its popularity from its location on Mount Rainier National Park , as it is a base for hikers and skiers. There are three popular campsites in Greenwater: Silver Springs , The Dalles, and Buck Creek .

Demographics
As of the 2000 census , Greenwater had 91 residents, 46 households and 17 families. The population density was 23.6 per km ². There were 65 housing units at an average density of 16.8 per km².
The population was 92.31% white , 2.2% Indian , 1.1% Pacific islanders , and 4.4% two or more "races" . Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 1.1% of the population.
