The Greenwood Valley is an icy valley on the western flank of the Wilson Piedmont Glacier between the Staeffler Ridge and Mount Doorly in East Antarctic Victoria Land .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after Russell A. Greenwood of the United States Navy , who was in charge of the heavy equipment at McMurdo Station in 1962.
