Gregor Betz
Gregor Betz (born November 21, 1948 in Oberammergau ) is a German swimmer who started for the Munich sports community around 1970 . He is 1.84 m tall and weighed 74 kg during his playing days.
Betz won four German championships and took part in the Olympic Games twice, in 1968 and 1972.
After finishing his active career, he worked as a trainer for TSV Bad Reichenhall . Today he runs a practice for craniosacral osteopathy in Kloten .

Betz took part in the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 and in Munich in 1972 and achieved the following results:
- 1968
- 100 m chest: Eliminated as sixth in the semifinals in 1: 09.8 minutes
- 4 × 100 m layer relay : 6th place in 4: 05.4 min. In the line-up of Reinhard Blechert , Gregor Betz, Lutz Stoklasa and Wolfgang Kremer (gold went to the USA , who swam a world record in 3: 54.9 min.)
- 1972
- 200 m chest: Eliminated in 2: 36.96 min. As the lead sixth (to qualify for the semifinals, he would have had to be more than 10 seconds faster).
