Wolfgang Kremer

Wolfgang Kremer (born October 29, 1945 in Burg ) is a German swimmer who competed for SV Essen 06 from 1960 to 1971 . He is 1.82 m tall and weighed 83 kg during his playing days.

German championships

Kremer won nine German championships:

  • 100 m freestyle: 1966 , 1967 , 1967 (25 m track), 1968 , 1969 and 1970
  • 200 m freestyle: 1966 and 1968
  • 100 m freestyle: 1969 International German Champion (25 m track)

Olympic participation

Kremer took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and 1968 in Mexico City in part.

Records

  • 1965 in London world record with the 4 x 220 yards freestyle relay. Cast: Hans-Joachim Klein, Olaf von Schilling, Holger Kirschke and Wolfgang Kremer
  • 1967 in Essen German record over 100 m freestyle (25 m track) in 0: 52.3 minutes.
