Gregor Hoffmann

Gregor Hoffmann (* 5. December 1970 in Potsdam-Babelsberg ) is a German politician of the CDU . From 1999 to 2011 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Gregor Hoffmann attended the Polytechnic High School and completed vocational training as a skilled worker for data processing from 1987 to 1989 . From 1991 to 1994 a second apprenticeship as a social security clerk followed, followed by professional training. Gregor Hoffmann studied economics and has a degree in business administration (FH). Since 1994 he has been working for the German Federal Pension Insurance , where he has been an organizational consultant since 2015.

politics

Hoffmann joined the CDU in 1994 and was chairman of the Junge Union in the Hohenschönhausen district from 1995 to 2000, and chairman of the CDU local association from 2000 to 2007. In 2007 he took over the office of district chairman in Lichtenberg and held this position until 2011. Also until 2011 he was state and federal party congress delegate of the Lichtenberg CDU. Hoffmann headed the Labor and Social Forum of the CDU Berlin from 2012–2013. From 1997 to 1999 he was a district councilor in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen and deputy chairman of the parliamentary group. Since 2011, Hoffmann has been honorary chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Berlin-Lichtenberg district assembly.

From 1999 to 2011 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives. There he was a member of the board of the CDU parliamentary group and active as spokesman for social affairs as well as chairman in the petitions committee and since 2004 ombudsman of his parliamentary group . Hoffmann sat on the main committee, committee for work, integration, vocational training and social affairs and as deputy chairman of the petitions committee.
