In the near future. An epidemic kills a large part of humanity. Made from rare plants, Absolon is sold by a pharmaceutical company headed by Murchison, which makes big profits.

A scientist is developing an alternative remedy for the disease. He will be killed; investigator Norman Scott is investigating his death. Then Scott himself is hunted by the company's employees.

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film had a “tendency to talkative” and presented “a familiar end-time story with modest directorial means” .

Cinema magazine wrote that the film was "clumsy and confused" . The plot is "okay" , but the actors seem "listless and uninspired" .
