Gregor McEwan

Gregor McEwan (born November 14, 1982 as Hagen Siems in Haltern , today Haltern am See ) is a German singer-songwriter who lives in Berlin .

biography

Hagen Siems began playing guitar at the age of six and took lessons in music school until he was nineteen. Inspired by a concert by the pop group Roxette , Siems began to write his own compositions and texts. He wrote and composed for the indie band Helter Skelter until it was dissolved in February 2009. Since the end of 2008 he has appeared publicly under the stage name Gregor McEwan. In November 2010 his first work Houses And Homes appeared on Ludwig, the record company of the German songwriter Tom Liwa . In April 2011 Gregor McEwan was featured on the Rolling Stone magazine's New Noises CD with a song contribution. He shared the stage with various artists such as Julia Stone or Joan as Police Woman . In August 2011, a concert with cellist Ruby Hart Brich was for the mission on the roofs on tape.tv broadcast. In 2012 the new EP Postcards and Polaroids / Try to write a song like this was released .
