Career
Gregory Fields uses the player name IdrA ; the name comes from the Hindu character "Indrajit". Before starting his StarCraft 2 career, Fields was active in StarCraft: Brood War - at that time he lived as a progamer in South Korea for several years . During this time he was a member of the Korean teams CJ Entus and eSTRO .
In early 2011 Fields, who was considered one of the strongest non-Korean players at the time, moved back to the United States to realign his career as the North American tournament landscape seemed more attractive to him. In August of the same year he decided to return to South Korea because of the better training conditions. He has been under contract with Evil Geniuses since September 2010 .
On May 10, 2013, the separation between Idra and Evil Geniuses was announced by the EC. Evil Geniuses justifies this decision by the lack of respect that Idra shows the community.
