Gregory John Leach

Gregory John Leach (born June 1, 1952 ) is an Australian botanist . Its botanical author abbreviation is " GJLeach ".

He has specialized in the plant families of the myrtle family and the leguminous plants and there especially in taxonomy . He made several trips to collect type materials through Australia and Papua New Guinea .

In 1990 and 1991, Gregory John Leach was posted to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew (London) as "Australian Botanical Liaison Officer" .
