Greifswald International Students Festival

The Greifswald International Students Festival (abbreviated GrIStuF ) has been taking place in Greifswald since 2002 . It forms a colorful framework for encounters and understanding between people from different nations, cultures and religions. The participants deal with the festival's motto in workshops, lectures and discussions, among other things. In addition, the festival time is rounded off by various cultural evening events.

The festival is carried out by the GrIStuF eV founded for this purpose and made possible through voluntary work by students from the University of Greifswald and other volunteers.

It is one of two festivals of this kind in Germany and takes place annually, alternating with the International Student Week in Ilmenau . In 2012 the GrIStuF eV received the culture award of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
