Durga is sentenced to 14 years in prison for murdering her tyrannical husband on the street. She can't cope with the certainty of being separated from her son Deva for so long and dies. The policeman Sidharth, who arrested her, takes the orphan Deva in as an adopted child.
The years go by. Deva becomes a young man who does not think much of the law and prefers to use his fists to ensure justice. Sidhart's biological son Karan is rather spoiled and can't stand Deva. Karan keeps getting the family into trouble. Unlike Deva, who thinks about his future and wants to marry the pretty Sharmili.
One day, the villain Niranjan, who was once beaten by Deva, is arrested. This time, Niranjan kills his victim after being raped. Now Niranjan's father Shubraj is pulling out all the stops to help his son free. But Sidharth cannot be bribed. Finally he and his son Deva manage to resolve the conflict.
