Grenadier Training Division 404 (Wehrmacht)
The Grenadier Training Division 404 was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up at the beginning of April 1945 on the Oder front in the Lübben - Görlitz - Bautzen area. The preparation of the unit was carried out by renaming the Replacement Division 404. The unit came in April 1945 in the Lausitz for use against the Red Army and went in May 1945 in Saxony in space Plauen - Zwickau in US captivity .
