The border between Azerbaijan and Turkey is a land border of 17 kilometers in length and connects the Nakhichevan exclave with Turkey . Azerbaijan is a member of the Eastern Partnership , Turkey is a candidate for accession to the European Union .

The border runs roughly from north to south, starting at the border triangle Armenia-Azerbaijan-Turkey, along the Macaw , to the border triangle Azerbaijan-Iran-Turkey and is a total of 17 kilometers long.
