Heinz Züllighoven

Karl Heinz Anton Züllighoven (born November 4, 1949 ) is a German computer scientist . He is known for helping to develop the tool and material approach . Züllighoven is a professor at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Heinz Züllighoven grew up in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler . He studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and later German and mathematics at the University of Bonn . At the TU Berlin he did his doctorate in computer science with Christiane Floyd .

In 1991 he was appointed professor at the University of Hamburg. There he and Christiane Floyd set up the software engineering department in the computer science department. He also initiated the Hamburg Informatics Technology Center (HITeC) together with other Hamburg professors . The modeling method eGPM (exemplary business process modeling ) was developed under his leadership .

Since it was founded, Züllighoven has also been the managing director of WPS - Workplace Solutions .
