Grete Heckscher (born November 8, 1901 in Copenhagen , † October 6, 1987 in Horne ) was a Danish fencer .
Life
Grete Heckscher took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris as one of three Danish women , where she was among the participants in the first-ever individual women's foil fencing competition. The first round she finished undefeated as group first, in the semifinals she was group runner-up behind Gladys Davis . In the final round she reached third place behind her compatriot Ellen Osiier and Gladys Davis, to whom she had lost, and thus secured the bronze medal.
