Grete Teege

Erna Margarethe (Grete) Luise Teege (born October 29, 1893 in Berlin, née Stähr; † April 12, 1959 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Grete Teege attended elementary school, high school and business school. From 1931 to 1937 she was a department head in the trust company. From 1938 to 1939 she worked as the head of a commercial agency and had been the company owner since 1939.

politics

Grete Teege was a member and functionary of the SPD from 1921 to 1933. From 1945 she got involved again in the SPD and was a board member of the SPD Frankfurt-Nordwest, a member of the supervisory board of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt, a member of the SPD main board in Frankfurt am Main and a board member of the SPD women's group in Frankfurt.

From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 she was a member of the State Assembly of Greater Hesse , which advised the constitution . After Wilhelm Apel left, she moved to the Hessian state parliament for a few months from May 13, 1950 to November 30, 1950.
