Grigori Efimowitsch Kasarnowski

Grigori Kasarnowski ( Russian Григорий Ефимович Казарновский ; born August 2 . Jul / 14. August  1887 greg. In Shklov in governorates Mogilev ; † 7. May 1955 in Stalinsk ) was a Russian Metallurg .

Life

Orphaned at an early age, Kasarnowski grew up with his uncle. He studied at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute, and then worked in the metallurgical plants in the Urals and Donbass .

In 1921, Kazarnovsky became the management assistant of the Guryevsk metallurgical plant, which has now been renovated. He was in charge of the construction of the blast furnace , the commissioning of the Siemens-Martin furnaces and the construction of the Guryevsk- Belovo railway connection .

In the summer of 1929 was Kasarnowski as Mikhail Kurakos student and colleague at the invitation of Ivan Bardins staff under construction Kuznetsk cabins combine in Kuzbass and directed the technical department.

Kasarnowski's grave is located in the birch grove of the Novokuznetsk pantheon of Kuznetsk metallurgists in a row with the grave of his friend Mikhail Kurako. A passage in Novokuznetsk bears Kasarnowski's name.
