Grigori Olegowitsch Scheldakow ( Russian Григорий Олегович Желдаков ; born February 11, 1992 in Moscow ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Grigory Scheldakow began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Spartak Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Continental Hockey League in the 2009/10 season . In his only season assignment, he remained pointless and punished. The entire rest of the season he spent with Spartak's junior team in the first-ever multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . There he was successful with 18 points, including six goals, in 52 games.

In the 2010/11 season , Scheldakow was a regular member of the Spartak Moscow KHL team and in January 2011 was even elected KHL Rookie of the Month. At the same time, he also continued to play for Spartak's juniors in the MHL.

In May 2014 he moved to HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk together with Pavel Medvedev . Between 2016 and 2018 he was under contract with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , after which he moved to HK Traktor Chelyabinsk for a year .

International

For Russia , Scheldakow took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2010 , where he finished fourth with his team. During the tournament, he scored one goal in seven games and provided an assist.
