Grimaldi di Ventimiglia is a district ( ital . Frazione ) of Ventimiglia on the west coast of Liguria . The place was originally under the rule of the Grimaldi family . It lies about halfway between Ventimiglia and the French Menton , about 6 kilometers west of Ventimiglia just before the French border.
At Grimaldi di Ventimiglia are the caves of Balzi Rossi .
