Grimmsberg is a short film from 2011 that was marketed as a mini mystery series . The work was produced for ProSieben by graduates of the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . Martin Busker directed the film . Grimmsberg is described by the broadcaster as the first mini-series to be filmed in 3D.
action
The teenager Tom has had visions since he was sixteen. He receives a warning from his trusted teacher Brigitte Gala, because his birth has opened the door to another world.
An old witch slips into Tom's little sister Tamara to regain her youthful beauty . At a party in Nico's house , the witch in Tamara's body hypnotizes the guests present so that they pass out. Later Tom comes with Sina to look for Tamara. When Tom is flirting with Sina about the music of Lady Gaga , when he hears the keyword “Lady Gaga” he thinks of his teacher “Lady Gala” and he wants to continue his mission - now with Sina.
At the end of the seventh episode there is a fight between Tom - who realizes that he is partly a werewolf (or another mythical being) (Tom suddenly wears dark clothes) - and the witch, and the fight ends in a draw. It ends with: "To be continued."
Stereo recordings
The film was recorded in 3D, but only shown in 2D at ProSieben. Only in the repetition at night and on the Internet were the episodes to be seen in 3D. The 3D playback can be adjusted to the monitor in the web player.
reception
The series premiered in blocks of three to seven minutes between the Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror episodes . That was received negatively by the audience.
background
- The sound comes from Alex Rubin, the boom operator Steffen Müller and the sound designer and mixing engineer Andrew Mottl , the script was written by Fabian Hebestreit . Bastian Schreitling took over the management of the digital post-processing .
- The fictional town of Grimmsberg was optically inspired by the town of the producer, Besigheim .
- The film was created using green screen technology.
