The Grinder Rock (English for molar rock ) is a 130 m high rock ledge on Intercurrence Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises as the southernmost of a group of rocks at the southeast end of the island.
It is recorded for the first time on Argentinean and Chilean maps from 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave it its descriptive name in 1960.
