The Großeichsener See or Groß Eichsener See is a lake in the municipality of Mühlen Eichsen in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The approximately 16 hectare large body of water is traversed by the Stepenitz from south to north . Another trench, partly cased in its course, flows into the northwest bank. The lake has a poorly articulated, elongated shape. The maximum dimensions are about 815 by 240 meters, the circumference measures 1.9 kilometers. The height of the water level is 43 m above sea level. NHN . The water is completely surrounded by a belt of trees. The average depth is two meters. The high trophic level leads to increased algae formation.
The eponymous place Groß Eichsen is located to the southwest. The village's Johanniter church is located in the immediate vicinity of the shore. The border with the municipality of Dalberg-Wendelstorf runs on the southeast bank . The Seefeld district is 600 meters from the lake.
