Dalberg-Wendelstorf is a municipality in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. The community is administered by the Lützow-Lübstorf Office , based in the Lützow community .
geography
The municipality of Dalberg-Wendelstorf lies between the state capital Schwerin and the city of Grevesmühlen in the valley of the Upper Stepenitz . The area consists of rolling hills that are about 60 m above sea level. Reach NN.
Dalberg-Wendelstorf is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Testorf-Steinfort in the north, Alt Meteln in the east, Cramonshagen in the south and Mühlen Eichsen in the west.
The districts Dalberg, Seefeld and Wendelstorf belong to the community.
history
The village of Dalberg was mentioned for the first time in 1171, making it one of the oldest villages in West Mecklenburg, Wendelstorf was first mentioned in 1194 in the Isfried partition agreement . The local farmers initially had the obligation to build the diocese of Schwerin , from the 16th century onwards, leases were accepted in the domanium . In 1669 Dalberg had 58 inhabitants. Towards the end of the 17th century, the peasants became serfs here too. In 1958 the former municipalities of Dalberg and Wendelstorf merged to form today's municipality.

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "GEMEINDE DALBERG-WENDELSTORF • LANDKREIS NORDWESTMECKLENBURG".
