history

On December 18, 2018, the two municipal councils decided to merge. The new municipality was created on the day of the municipal elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2019 . At the same time, residents voted on the final name of the parish, with 68.28% of those voting for that name. The background to the community merger is the already existing cooperation, especially in fire protection, but also to anticipate a possible incorporation into Schönberg by the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
