The former Alt-Weißenfels inn is located at Große Burgstraße 19 . The building is empty today.
House number 22
House number 22 is the Weissenfels escort house , where soldiers were once hired to escort. In the building the body of the killed Swedish King Gustav II Adolf was dissected and embalmed before it was brought to Sweden. Today the building houses an Irish pub and a museum. The autopsy room can be visited.
