The house at Große Diesdorfer Straße 91 is a listed villa in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the north side of Große Diesdorfer Straße in the Stadtfeld West district , opposite the main entrance of the Westfriedhof .
Architecture and history
The villa was built in 1889 by master bricklayer Carl Fröhlich for Wilhelm Beschke , co-owner of the Thurm und Beschke varnish factory founded in 1873 . It was built as a manufacturer's villa in the front area of the factory site. The two and a half story building was designed in the neo-renaissance style. The Wilhelminian style building was built on a high base. Yellow bricks were used for the facades, the facade is structured using horizontally arranged plaster strips. A narrow cornice runs level with the sills on the upper floor. To the south towards the street the symmetrical facade is designed with seven axes, the three central axes emerge as a central risalit . The ground floor is particularly decorated and designed as a nobile floor . The windows are grouped together as groups of two or three, and the corners of the building are rusticated .
There is an entrance risalit on the eastern side of the building.
In the local register of monuments , the villa is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82557 .
The villa is considered an important cultural and social historical document for upper-class living conditions at the end of the 19th century.
