The race

The Agadir Grand Prix was announced in 1954 as a sports car race for three racing classes. Not uncommon for the 1950s, the respective classes did not start together in one race, but at three independent events. Sports cars with a displacement of up to 1.1 liters were the first to drive. The Moroccan Jean Heyder-Bruckner remained victorious on a Reac Dyna .

After François Picard's success at the factory - Ferrari 500 Mondial in the race for cars up to 2-liter displacement, his teammate Giuseppe Farina in the Ferrari 375 Plus won the race over 2-liter displacement in the third race of the day.
