The Great Tragl is a 2179  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Styrian part of the Dead Mountains . To the north the mountain drops moderately steeply into the Traglhals saddle , to the south a flat saddle leads over to the summit of the Kleiner Tragl. To the west, the summit drops steeply into the Haberbarn cirque . To the east, steep craggy terrain leads over to the plateau of the Prielgruppe. In winter the summit is a popular destination for a ski tour. At the summit there is a summit cross with a summit book.
