Great stone graves near Waltersdorf

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone graves near Waltersdorf were several megalithic graves of unknown numbers from the Neolithic near Waltersdorf , a district of Schönefeld in the Dahme-Spreewald district ( Brandenburg ). Around 1830, west of Waltersdorf, on the road from Königs Wusterhausen to Berlin, there was “a sizeable store of attachments [...], many of which served as old burial stones.” Ernst Sprockhoff saw this as an indication of former large stone graves. There is no information about the dimensions, orientation and type of the systems, nor about finds.
