The large stone grave Axelshof was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Axelshof , a district of Kummerow in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was probably destroyed around 1904. Its exact location is not known. All that is known about the grave is that it is an "elongated 4 foot [approx. 1.2 m] high barrow of stone ”. The exact type of grave cannot be determined from this information. A ceramic vessel adorned with string and a spearhead made of flint were recovered from the complex , which probably originate from a subsequent burial of the end-Neolithic individual grave culture and came to the Museum of Szczecin .
