The large stone grave Dargun is a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Dargun in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).

location

The grave is located north of Dargun, about 300 m west of the K11 road, just before the junction to Barlin in a field.

description

The complex is very poorly preserved and was described as disturbed at the end of the 19th century. Only two larger and a few smaller stones can be seen that are no longer in their original location. A reconstruction of the original appearance of the grave is therefore not possible.

A human skullcap may come from here , which was found "in the sandy soil of a former megalithic grave near the new building in Dargun" and which was transferred to the Association for Mecklenburg History and Archeology in Schwerin in 1975.
