Great stone grave Gütz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Gütz was a Neolithic megalithic grave in the former village of Piltitz , which is now part of Gütz , a district of Landsberg in the Saalekreis , Saxony-Anhalt . The grave was destroyed in 1845. More precise information on shape and size is not available, which means that conclusions about the exact type of grave are no longer possible. Hans-Jürgen Beier only generally assumes a large stone grave or a stone box . Finds from the complex are not known. The grave was located in the immediate vicinity of a menhir , the Devil's Stone from Piltitz , which still exists today.
