The large stone grave Luisenhof (also Großsteingrab Luisenhof-Reimershagen or Großsteingrab Reimershagen ) is a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Reimershagen in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It bears the Sprockhoff number 380.

location

The grave is located about halfway between Reimershagen and the district of Groß Tessin , directly on the municipal boundary to Krakow am See in a forest.

description

The complex has an east-west oriented, trapezoidal barn bed . Only two relocated stones on the east side remain of the stone enclosure, a clearing ditch marks the original rows of stones. The mound is still around 1.5 m high. The bed has a length of 24 m and a width of 12 m in the east and 6 m in the west. At the eastern end there is a transverse burial chamber , which can be referred to as a large dolmen . Two wall stones standing in situ on the eastern long side and two more on the western side have been preserved. Another stone is missing between these. The narrow sides each have two narrower end stones. On the south side, the western wall stone is set back like a niche and marks the entrance with the door panel still in place. All cap stones are missing. The chamber has a length of 3 m and a width between 1.5 m and 1.7 m.
