Retzow (Malchin) stone grave

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Retzow was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Retzow , a district of Malchin in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was probably destroyed in the early 20th century. Robert Beltz mentioned it in 1899 as having been preserved. It stood on a hill and still had numerous stones in the 1890s. There is no more detailed information about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave.
