The Spitzkuhn large stone grave is a megalithic burial site of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Spitzkuhn , a district of Bollewick in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It bears the Sprockhoff number 448.

location

The grave is located about 400 m south of Spitzkuhn in a field.

description

The complex has an east-west oriented burial chamber , which can be addressed as an extended dolmen . The eastern end stone and the wall stones on the long sides are still preserved. Except for the inwardly inclined eastern stone on the south side, all are still in situ . The western capstone is missing. Of the capstones, only the slightly displaced eastern one is preserved. The chamber has a length of 2.4 m and a width of 1.4 m.
