The large stone grave Westerloh I is a Neolithic passage grave , with the Sprockhoff no. 864. It originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).

The large stone grave Westerloh I is located east of the village of Westerloh , a district of Haselünne in the Emsland district in Lower Saxony . It is located on the road to Lähden.
description
The east-west oriented chamber lies in the remains of a 17 × 7.5 meter oval enclosure, which has been preserved especially on the north side. The chamber measures 12.3 × 1.6 meters. Almost all bearing stones and seven of eight cap stones are in place. The middle and largest capstone is made of red granite . The stone next to it is neatly split in half. An excavation took place in the complex in the 19th century. In 1820, H. Bödiker found a flint ax and a deep-engraved bowl here.
