The large stone grave Wrząca (also called Großsteingrab Franzen ) is a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Wrząca ( German Franzen ), a district of Gmina Kobylnica (German Kublitz ) in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It bears the Sprockhoff number 580.

location

The grave is located about 3.5 km southeast of Wrząca in a field. The large stone grave Zagórki (Sagerke large stone grave) is located 180 m to the southeast .

description

The complex has a north-east-south-west oriented burial chamber , which is a large dolmen . It has a length of 3.2 m and a width of 0.9 m. Ernst Sprockhoff was able to identify all four wall stones on the north-western and the southernmost of the south-eastern long side as well as the two closing stones on the narrow sides when he was photographed in 1934. The other wall stones on the southeast side and all cap stones were missing. Most of the remaining stones were still in situ, only the two middle stones on the northwest side were inclined inward. The chamber was sunk into the earth up to the edge of the wall stones. A stone enclosure could not be found. The current state of the plant is unclear.
