The Gmina Kobylnica is a rural municipality in the powiat Słupski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Kublitz , also Königlich Kublitz , Kashubian Kòbëlnica , also Kòbëlnëcô ) with about 4000 inhabitants.
geography
The municipal area is 244.95 km², of which 60% is used for agriculture and 30% for forestry. The Stolpetal Landscape Protection Park (Krajobrazowy Doliny Słupi Park) extends into the Gmina area. Kobylnica is four kilometers from Słupsk (Stolp) in Western Pomerania .

The rural municipality belonged to the Slupsk Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 .

traffic
The European route 28 (Berlin – Stettin – Koszalin – Danzig – Königsberg – Vilnius – Gomel) and the state road DK 21 from Słupsk to Miastko (formerly the German state road 125 ) lead through the municipality .
The line (Berlin – Stettin–) Stargard – Koszalin – Danzig (–Kaliningrad) runs through the municipality, but has no train station there. Kobylnica station is on the Ustka - Słupsk - Miastko (Rummelsburg) - Szczecinek (Neustettin) - Piła (Schneidemühl) line .
